3 Day Detox Bounce Back

Are you feeling uncomfortable in your body after a weekend or holiday splurge? Looking for a way to conquer the sugar blues? My 3 Day Detox bounce back plan can help detox a congested liver, soothe the digestive tract, increase your energy, and get you feeling good in your body and mind!

 

Day 1

  • Breakfast: Protein Shake. 
  • Lunch: 2 cups Warm Detox Soup. Recipe here.
  • Snack: 1 serv. Organic cottage cheese (Good Culture is a tasty brand)
  • Dinner: 2-3 cups Warm Detox Soup
  • Snack: Fenugreek or Ginger Lemon tea
  • Bedtime: 1-2 tbsp of organic olive oil with 1-2 tsp of lemon juice

 

Day 2

  • Breakfast: 1 cup plain Organic Greek yogurt w/ sprinkle of cinnamon
  • Lunch: 2 cups Warm Detox Soup
  • Snack: Avocado Fennel salad (recipe below)
  • Dinner: 2-3 cups Warm Detox Soup
  • Snack: Fenugreek or Ginger Lemon tea
  • Bedtime: 1-2 tbsp of organic olive oil with 1-2 tsp of lemon juice

 

Day 3

  • Breakfast: 1 cup Organic cottage cheese with 2/3 cup raspberries
  • Lunch: 1 cup Warm Detox Soup, salad w/plant based protein
  • Snack: Avocado Fennel salad (recipe below)
  • Dinner: Grilled or baked salmon, broccoli rabe or asparagus, ½ baked sweet potato
  • Snack: Fenugreek or Ginger Lemon tea
  • Bedtime: 1-2 tbsp of organic olive oil with 1-2 tsp of lemon juice

 

Avocado Fennel Salad Recipe. Makes 2 -3 servings:

Ingredients:

  • 2 fennel bulbs
  • 1-2 avocados
  • a handful of mint leaves
  • 4 tbsp. olive oil
  • juice from 2 lemons

Instructions:

  1. Cut off stalk of fennel bulbs.
  2. Cut them in half and then cut out the core. Slice the core lengthwise into thin pieces. Seed, peel and chop the avocados into ½ inch pieces. In a medium bowl, make the dressing by combining olive oil and lemon.
  3. Add the chopped mint leaves and toss thoroughly until everything is evenly coated.

Organic Cottage Cheese and Greek yogurt contains high amounts of protein and healthy bacteria to help strengthen the digestive tract.

Fenugreek tea helps remove toxins from the body.

Ginger Lemon tea helps soothe pain from inflammation and improve overall skin health.

Feel free to continue w/a detox meal plan, gradually adding 3-4 oz protein at lunch & dinner with salad, veggies, and a small amount of gluten-free grains like quinoa or millet.
