Vita Coco unsweetened coconut milk is an excellent base for smoothies. Plus it’s packed with hydrating electrolytes to make you feel recharged and ready to go!
Cherries are low in calories, full of fiber, rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds which can help with exercise recovery.
Bananas are high in potassium and rich in magnesium.
Kale and/or spinach are considered superfoods.
Cinnamon is a delicious spice that is high in antioxidants and has numerous health benefits including, slowing the aging process.
Chia seeds are rich in fiber, minerals, omega-3 fat, and quercetin a powerful antioxidant. They can keep you full and satisfied.
Maca root powder boosts energy and endurance. May also increase libido.
Tip:Option to add 1 scoop of unsweetened vanilla or chocolate protein powder.

Ingredients:
1. | 1 cup unsweetened Vita Coco vanilla coconut milk |
2. | ½ cup cold water |
3. | 1 cup frozen cherries |
4. | ½ frozen banana |
5. | Handful of kale or spinach |
6. | ½ tsp cinnamon |
7. | 1 Tbsp Chia seeds |
8. | 1 tsp Maca Root powder |
Optional Protein Powder
1. | 1 Tbsp of unsweetened vanilla or chocolate |
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in Ninja or Vita-mix blender.
Add all ingredients to your blender, in order starting with coconut milk through Maca powder.
Note: “Smoothie” setting on Ninja took 1 minute to blend into a creamy, refreshing drink.
Notes:
Option to sprinkle cacao nibs on top of blended smoothie.
