Personal Naan Pizza

This personal Naan bread pizza is an easy and delicious way to make restaurant-worthy flatbread pizza at home, in minutes. Jalapeno-basil pesto, artichokes, black olives, sun-dried tomatoes and shredded almond cheese top this Mediterranean naan pizza, but they are so easy to prepare and cook, each family member could have fun creating their own version.

Tip: You can find Naan bread at most grocers and online. Servings do vary from 2 to a package to 5 per package.

Ingredients:

1.1 piece whole wheat or garlic 365 Tandoori Naan Bread
2.2-3 tablespoons Jalapeno-Basil Pesto (found at Whole Foods Market)
3.1/3 cup Lisanatti Shredded Mozzarella Almond Cheese
4.1/4 cup marinated artichokes, patted dry & chopped
5.¼ cup marinated sundried tomatoes, patted dry & sliced
6.1-2 tablespoons black olives, sliced
7.1 teaspoon basil or Italian seasoning

Directions:

Step 1.

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Place foil on baking sheet and put naan bread on foil.

Add the Pesto.

Smear pesto on naan bread.

Sprinkle the Cheese.

Sprinkle shredded almond cheese on pizza, making sure to cover the entire piece, except about 1/2” from the end to create a “crust.”

Array the Veggies & Season.

Arrange artichokes, sundried tomatoes and black olives evenly on pizza. Season with basil or Italian seasoning.

Cook the Naan Pizza.

Place pizza in oven and cook for 12-15 minutes, or until cheese & crust turns golden.

Chow Time.

Remove pizza from oven and allow to cool for a couple minutes. Option to cut into slices, or not!
